Asthma – What is that?

Posted on: October 26th, 2021 by

Asthma is a lung disease that makes it harder to move air in and out of your lungs. This is something someone with asthma lives with every day, it does not go away. Asthma can be serious and even life-threatening. There is no cure for asthma, but it can be managed so someone with asthma can live a normal, healthy life.

Asthma is the most chronic disorder in childhood, currently affecting more than 6.1 million children under 18 years old. (1)
